Berta Giménez

Berta Giménez is a photographer born and based in Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. Her work focuses on capturing abandoned spaces, particularly those that reveal traces of time and memory embedded in the Patagonian landscape. In 2019, she held her first solo exhibition featuring a series of photographs taken in forgotten places throughout the province. Over the years, she has participated in various group photography exhibitions and is currently contributing to the collective book El peso del corazón, to be officially launched at FOLA (Latin American Photo Library) in Buenos Aires. Her artistic approach reflects a deep connection to her environment and a commitment to continuous development, engaging regularly in training that provides new tools to enhance her creative practice.
