Ximena Moreno

Ximena Moreno is a visual artist and researcher from Cuenca, Ecuador. Her artistic practice focuses on community curatorial processes, art pedagogy and socially engaged artistic practices, exploring art as a tool for personal and collective transformation. Her work investigates the relationship between the body, emotions and visual representation, addressing themes related to gender, identity and political narratives in contemporary art. Through socially oriented art interventions, she develops projects aimed at humanizing therapeutic processes and strengthening self-awareness and emotional resilience through creative and participatory practices. Her projects combine artistic production, cultural mediation and research, creating spaces for critical reflection and community dialogue. Alongside her artistic work, she is involved in research and education in the visual arts, developing methodologies that connect artistic creation, critical thinking and social participation within contemporary Latin American art contexts.
