Noe Mayorga

Noé R. Mayorga Ortiz, born in Ambato in 1975, is a transdisciplinary artist whose practice merges art, research, science, and ancestral knowledge. He employs tools from cultural heritage conservation, curatorial exercises, public space interventions, and community mediation to create interfaces that connect the divine with the everyday, the hegemonic with the marginal, and the body in its impermanent state with space. He defines himself as an interface with a decolonial perspective, rooted in collective processes, emotional bonds, and ancestral wisdom.
