Federico Gloriani

Federico Gloriani (Pergamino, Buenos Aires, 1985) is an Argentine artist working at the crossroads of art, science, and technology. His practice focuses on experimental uses of obsolete and near-obsolete communication technologies, often unfolding as processes, actions, or experiments rather than finished objects. He has carried out pirate FM and open-air TV broadcasts, communication experiments with landline phones and telegraphs, and currently researches 19th-century devices such as the Telehor and Pantelégrafo. A graduate of the National University of Rosario, he was part of Espacio Lab and Sub Escuela, both pivotal in his development. He is co-founder of Campo Modulado, exploring soundscapes, wave modulation, and antenna construction, and co-directs the library América Elda Nancy. His work has been shown at Centro Cultural Kirchner, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Neuquén), Espacio de Arte Contemporáneo (Montevideo), AVTO (Istanbul), and Ateliê 397 (São Paulo).
