Maximiliano Murad

Maximiliano Murad (Córdoba, 1979) is a visual artist living and working in Buenos Aires. Trained at the Manuel Belgrano School of Fine Arts and in workshops with Carlos Gorriarena, Dante Montich, and Lucrecia Orloff, his work focuses on drawing and painting. He has held solo shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Santa Cruz, Centro Cultural Recoleta, and Moria Gallery, among others. His group exhibitions include Fundación OSDE, Palais de Glace, Fundación Klemm, MALBA, and international festivals in Brazil. Awards include the 3rd Prize at the XV National Painting Award Banco Central (2022), 2nd Prize UTHGRA Painting (2011), and honors at the National Salon of Visual Arts. He has exhibited at ArteBA, Expotrastiendas, and Rosario’s Microferia. Murad’s practice explores intimacy, everyday life, and dreamlike imagery through experimental approaches, while also engaging in teaching visual arts at primary schools in Buenos Aires.
