Augusto Zanela

Augusto Zanela (Buenos Aires, 1967) is an architect and visual artist specializing in photography, drawing, aesthetics, and cultural industries. He directed the FADU/UBA Photography Workshop (1991–2019) and is a full professor in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Electronic Arts at UNTREF. Zanela’s award-winning work includes installations and new media, featured in museum and private collections in Argentina, Brazil, Spain, the U.S., and Switzerland. He also develops educational and curatorial projects, such as Solaris, recognized for social and cultural impact in Buenos Aires.
