César Miranda

Cesar Tomás Miranda (1922-2014), born in Alvear, Corrientes, was an Argentine printmaker, draftsman, and educator. A graduate of the School of Arts, UNC (1949), he directed the Genaro Pérez Municipal Museum of Fine Arts and Córdoba’s Cultural Department. His surreal, dreamlike works combine geometry and poetry, exploring solitude and space. He exhibited nationally and internationally, receiving awards such as Bronze Medal in Brussels (1958), First Prize in Rosario (1957), and Grand Honor Prize in Córdoba (1982).
