Angie Bonino

Angie Bonino is a Peruvian multidisciplinary artist and a pioneer of video and new media art in the 1990s. Her critical work explores themes such as the environment, patriarchy, violence, migration, power, and media control. She works with video, performance, installation, augmented and virtual reality, drawing, poetry, and the Internet. She studied graphic design at UNI and fine arts at ENSABAP, with master’s degrees in interactive systems (Ramón Llull University), cybersecurity (EU), and creative writing (UNMSM). Bonino has exhibited at MAC Lima, MEIAC (Spain), and Qorikancha (Peru), and participated in fairs like ART Paris, ARCO, and LA Art Show. Her work has featured in biennials such as Havana, Dakar, Bronx, Interferences, Globalica, Manifesta, and the Nomadic Biennial.
