Alejandra Delgado

Alejandra Delgado was born in Bolivia and graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts “Hernando Siles.” She earned a Master’s in Photography from EFTI in Madrid (2007). Her work received awards such as First Prize at SIART 2005 and the SIART Video Art Prize 2009. She completed residencies at KIOSKO (Bolivia) and Can Xalant (Spain), and held solo exhibitions including Vademécum, Opera Rouge, and Monarca. Delgado has participated in group shows in Bolivia, Spain, the U.S., Germany, and across Latin America. Her practice merges photography, video, and installation to explore identity, gender, and migration.
