Mene Savasta

Mene Savasta is a sound artist, musician, and researcher born in Mar del Plata and based in Buenos Aires. Her work intersects sound, light, and space with a technical, relational, and site-specific approach through performances and multichannel installations. She composes with voice, electronics, and custom-made instruments. Her work has been shown at Teatro Colón, Ars Electronica (Austria), CCK, Recoleta, Fundación Telefónica, and San Martín Cultural Center. Her solo album Campo Cercano was performed at Sónar, Mutek, and Ciclo Escuchar. She has taken part in many projects and performed across the Americas and Europe. She holds a PhD in Arts (UNLP), teaches at UNA, and coordinates the Sound Art MA at UNTREF.
