Isabella Ogeda
Isabella Ogeda is a transdisciplinary artist whose practice merges painting, performance, and science to explore transformation and memory through residual materials. Her work bridges ancestral knowledge and contemporary technologies, connecting Latin American cosmologies, speculative thought, and scientific methods. She holds a BA in Painting from UFRJ and an MA in Art+Espace from ENSAD (Paris), with studies at Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College, and EAV Parque Lage. Currently, she pursues a transdisciplinary research program with a scholarship at The New Centre under Reza Negarestani. She collaborates with Marcela Cantuária and engages in scientific techniques like SEM and mass spectrometry in labs such as GFZ-Potsdam and ENS-Paris. Her work has been exhibited in Brazil and Europe, including Gaîté Lyrique, Despina, and le 6b.
