Anita Pouchard Serra
Anita Pouchard Serra is a Franco-Argentine visual storyteller, photojournalist, and educator, trained in ballet, architecture, and anthropology. She lives in Buenos Aires and works between Latin America and France. Her projects explore identity, migration, territory, and women’s rights, using a transdisciplinary approach from drawing to performance. She has received support from the French National Library, CNAP, Argentina’s National Arts Fund, Pulitzer Center, and National Geographic. Winner of the UN Migration special award (2021) and the GABO prize (2024), she was nominated for the Joop Swart masterclass and selected for the Eddie Adams Workshop. She collaborates with The New York Times, Le Monde, El País, and others. Exhibited at Photoville (NY), Sharjah Biennial (UAE), and the French National Library. She teaches photojournalism and new visual narratives and is a member of Women Photograph and Foto Féminas.
