Caroline de Chaunac

Born in France in 1980, she graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Beaux-Arts in Grenoble, France, in 2006. She traveled around Europe participating in artistic, performance, and theater projects. She received a grant from the National Arts Fund in 2022 and from the Salta Citizen Fund for Cultural Development in 2023. She participated in group exhibitions such as Atlas at the Casa de la Provincia de Salta, Buenos Aires, curated by Hernán Ulm (2024); and Autorretratos (Self-Portraits), alongside 24 other artists, at Espacio Lavallén, Buenos Aires. In 2024, she presented the solo exhibition Instrucciones para ser nómada sin caminar (Instructions for Being a Nomad Without Walking) at the MAC in Salta, curated by Fernando Farina, and participated in the FAS Fair in Salta, at 352.a in Resistencia, and the MAC art market in Cordoba, with the Galería Eventual. In 2025, he directed a processual project at the MAC in Salta: La necesidad de la ausencia (The Need for Absence), in which he also participated as an artist. More recently, he participated in the exhibition Migrantes (Migrants) as part of Bienalsur, at the Alianza Francesa in Buenos Aires and at FAS 2025 with the LuCo Arte gallery.
