Christian Romo

Christian Romo is a Chilean sculptor and cultural manager. Founder of CRomo Esculturas, his practice focuses on stone as both symbolic and material element, producing sculpture and functional design pieces. Since 2004, he has led public art workshops, exhibitions, and community projects. He took part in the Quebrada Verde Sculptors' Meeting (2012, 2014), the XXVI International Sculpture Symposium in Valdivia (2022), and held solo shows such as CRomo Arte Factos de Piedra (2016), Cardumen (2019), and Tributos (2025). His Zoomorphic Mortars were shortlisted for the 2015 Seal of Excellence in Craftsmanship. A founding member of CEDA Punto Puerto, he also works with the Valparaíso Department of Cultural Development. In 2023–2024, he joined the organizing team of the Valparaíso International Art Biennial.
