Otro Captore

Otro Captore is a multidisciplinary Chilean visual artist working across drawing, printmaking, painting, textile art, and digital technologies. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Valparaíso, she has been part of the international collective DADA since 2016. Her work explores the body as a fragmented surface through a psychoanalytic lens and incorporates generative AI and blockchain. Recent projects combine medical skin imagery with a semantic corpus of words related to time, challenging conventional representations of the body and critically addressing the notion of datafication. Her practice engages a fragmentary temporality at the intersection of art, technology, and subjectivity.
