Márcio Vilela

Márcio Vilela (Recife, 1978) is a visual artist and photography teacher based in Lisbon. He holds a degree from Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Tomar and a master's from the European Master of Fine Art Photography at IED Madrid. He has participated in residencies at Carpe Diem (Lisbon), Galeria Fonseca Macedo (Azores), MAMAM (Recife), and Pico do Refúgio. He has exhibited solo at the National Museum of Brasilia, MNAC Chiado (Lisbon), among others. His work is included in collections such as MNAC, MAMAM, Museu de Brasília, and the António Cachola Collection. He has taught photography since 2007.
