Iván González

Iván González is a sound artist and experimental musician based in Córdoba, Argentina. He is part of the multimedia performance collective Las hijas de Israel and develops his musical project under the alias Sombra. In 2021, he joined the Artists Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. His work explores the relationship between sound, materiality, and territory, investigating technological ruins, memory, and contemporary prosthetics through digital and sculptural processes. He has received awards and grants from FNA, the Ministry of Culture, Córdoba City, UTDT, In Situ Prize, and En Obra.
