Alina Neyman

Alina Neyman was born in September 1934 in Carmen de Patagones, Argentina, and developed her artistic career in Salta. She graduated as a Drawing Professor from the Provincial School of Fine Arts Tomás Cabrera. Influenced by Luis Preti, her work is defined by formal and spatial synthesis with a focus on urban landscapes. She held solo exhibitions in cities such as Salta, Buenos Aires, New York, Santa Fe, and Seville. Neyman received numerous awards, including the Grand Honor Prize from the Salta Salon (1993) and the Artistic Merit Award from the Government of Salta Province (1990). Her participation in salons and collective exhibitions throughout Argentina consolidated a visual narrative based on frontality and layered composition.
