Florencia Sadir
Florencia Sadir (1991, Tucumán) grew up in Cafayate, Salta, and currently lives in San Carlos. Her work draws on ancestral knowledge of land, crops, and ceramics. She studied at the National University of Tucumán, Flora Ars + Natura (Bogotá), and the UTDT Artists’ Program (Buenos Aires). She reinterprets local materials through abstraction to create sculptures and installations. Her work has been shown at the Aichi Triennale (Japan, 2022), the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, and MAC Salta, among others. She participated in FAARA (Uruguay), URRA Tigre, and Curadora (Santa Fe) residencies, and was a finalist for the 2020 Azcuy Prize. Her works are held in collections in Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.
