Santiago Poggio

Santiago Poggio (b. Argentina) is a visual artist and professor at UNLP. He explores the tension between geometric abstraction and narrative figuration through painting, sculpture, and installation. He was part of the UTDT Artists Program and has held residencies in Edinburgh, Madrid, Basel, Buenos Aires, and Cali. Exhibitions include UADEArt (2024), María Casado (2021), Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Bienal do Mercosul, and MUNTREF. Awards: Molina Campos Prize (2019), 3rd Best Work at the National Salon (2018), Lucio Fontana Prize Mention (2016). His work questions perception, language, and form.
