Sandro Pereira

Sandro Pereira (b. 1974, Tucumán, Argentina) is a visual artist whose work blends sculpture, memory, and popular culture. He studied at UNT and received the Kuitca Fellowship, Elena Poggi Prize, and Oxenford Grant. His work has been shown at PROA, Casa del Bicentenario, Galería PM, and internationally at Matadero Madrid, the Mercosur Biennial (Brazil), and artDC (USA). His projects include Traveling Art Boxes, El juego como arte, and Olas del deseo. Pereira explores identity, nostalgia, and the aesthetics of everyday life.
