Ana Tiscornia

Ana Tiscornia (b. 1951, Montevideo) is a Uruguayan visual artist, curator, educator, and editor based in the United States since 1991. Her work explores memory, displacement, and the politics of space through sculpture, collage, and installation, often repurposing everyday objects. Tiscornia has exhibited extensively across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America and has represented Uruguay at major international biennials such as Havana and Lima. She teaches at the State University of New York and her work is held in numerous public and private collections, including the Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales in Montevideo.
