Olivia Funes Lastra
Olivia Funes Lastra (b. 1995, Wellington, New Zealand) is a visual artist based in Paris. Her work explores displacement, translation, and hybrid identities through painting, installation, performance, video, and text. She creates ephemeral architectures that engage with place and memory—transitory spaces where color, language, and the body intersect. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy (2020) and the UTDT Artists’ Program (2021), her installation Pintura-Andando was acquired by FRAC Île-de-France. She has exhibited internationally, including at the 17th Lyon Biennale (2024), Las Cigarreras (2025), and Casa de Velázquez (2023–24).
