Inci Eviner
İnci Eviner (b. 1956, Ankara) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Istanbul whose work spans drawing, video, installation, and performance. Central to her practice is drawing, used as a tool to explore gender, identity politics, and the female body. Eviner investigates how subjectivity is shaped through cultural, historical, and unconscious forces. Her visual language blends myth, iconography, and contemporary symbols to challenge dominant narratives and representations. She represented Turkey at the 58th Venice Biennale (2019) and has exhibited at the Drawing Center (New York), Whitechapel Gallery (London), MAC/VAL (Paris), and Istanbul Modern. Her work is in major collections, including Centre Pompidou and the Guggenheim Museum.
