Juan Sorrentino
Juan Sorrentino is a contemporary artist and experimental musician whose work spans sculpture, performance, installation, video, photography, and sound. He creates sonic sculptures and sound installations exploring visual language, poetic context, and collective imagination. He is known for using bricks, metals, dust, and industrial motors to produce low-frequency and inaudible sounds—like seismic or quark vibrations. His work offers inclusive, multisensory experiences, reaching audiences beyond standard hearing ranges. He has exhibited at Whitechapel Gallery (UK), MAAT (PT), Bonniers Konsthall (SE), Círculo de Bellas Artes (ES), CCK, MACBA, Fundación Proa (AR), ARGOS (BE), and Tromsø Kunstforening (NO). His work is held in public and private collections.
