Suyai Otaño

Suyai Otaño (b. 1984, Neuquén, Argentina) is a visual artist and photographer. She began photographing as a child and studied photography in Córdoba. In 2008, she joined the Contemporary Photography Course in Havana, Cuba, also learning screen printing and ceramics. She received the Ecunhi–Fondo Nacional de las Artes Scholarship (2010) and the FNA Creation Grant (2012). Otaño participated in projects like GiftShop at ArteBA and artist residencies Curadora and En Tránsito. Her work has been exhibited in Argentina, France, Germany, and Cuba.
