Carla Spinoza

Carla Spinoza (Bolivia) is a visual artist and researcher with academic training in Sociology, Documentary Photography, and a Master’s degree in Visual Cultural Studies. She defines herself as “a territory in invention” navigating interdisciplinary experimentation between the arts and social sciences. Her practice is rooted in what she calls artography, a hybrid field where creation, writing, and critical inquiry converge. Her work explores bodies, memory, affect, and decolonial perspectives from a situated lens. Combining image, text, and archive, her pieces have been presented in independent, academic, and cultural spaces.
