Edouard Duval-Carrié
Edouard Duval-Carrié (b. 1954, Haiti) is a Haitian visual artist based in Miami, known for exploring the Caribbean diaspora, history, and identity in his work. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and various universities in Canada.
His work has been exhibited at the Miami Art Museum, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, and Musée du Panthéon National Haitien, among others. He has received prestigious residencies in Giverny and Paris and has developed public art projects in Miami and Albuquerque.
