Dala Nasser
Dala Nasser (b. 1990, Tyre, Lebanon) is an artist working between Lebanon and the UK, exploring abstraction and alternative image-making. Her work combines painting, sound, performance, and film, challenging colonial landscape traditions by using land itself as a medium.
Through fabric and pigments, Nasser examines unclaimed histories, ecological violence, colonial theft, and infrastructural crises in contexts where human language is insufficient. She has exhibited at Renaissance Society (Chicago), Kölnischer Kunstverein (Cologne), and Deborah Schamoni (Munich). Upcoming shows include Kunsthalle Basel (2025) and Nottingham Contemporary (2026).
