Yiğit Tanel Kaçar

Yigit Tanel Kacar (born in 1988, Turkey) is a photographer and multi-disciplinary artist known for his visual projects and collaborations. After graduating from the Photography and Video Department at Bahcesehir University in 2012, Kacar participated in the International Summer School of Photography (ISSP) in 2010, with his works exhibited in Ludza and Riga. In 2012, he was selected for Middle Town: Picturing The Unspectacular, a documentary project created in collaboration with ISSP, GAPO, TANDEM, and PARADOX. He also co-directed the short film The Clocks (2021), which received an honorable mention at SFP4 (Sharjah Film Platform). In addition to participating in art workshops and exhibitions nationally and internationally, Kacar is currently focused on his visual projects and music production under the name "9VSS".
