Iratxe Jaio + Klaas van Gorkum

Iratxe Jaio and Klaas van Gorkum, this artist duo has been working collaboratively since 2001, dividing their time between Rotterdam (Netherlands) and the Basque Country (Spain). Their multidisciplinary practice addresses themes of memory, identity, and sociopolitical contexts through installations, video, photography, and performance. Their work has been showcased in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in prominent international venues, such as the San Telmo Museum (Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain), Artium Museum (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain), Het Valkhof Museum (Nijmegen, Netherlands), ADN Platform (Barcelona, Spain), FRAC-Aquitaine (Bordeaux, France), MUSAC (León, Spain), Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain), Kunsthalle Exnergasse (Vienna, Austria), Fabra i Coats (Barcelona, Spain), De Appel (Amsterdam, Netherlands), and Konsthall C (Stockholm, Sweden).
