Amaia Molinet

Amaia Molinet (Navarra, 1988) is a prominent visual artist based in Bilbao and Cluj-Napoca. She is pursuing a PhD in Art Research at UPV/EHU with her thesis “Photography and Territory: Multiple Events Crossed by Love”. Molinet has received grants from esteemed institutions such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Basque Government, and has participated in residencies in Iceland, Western Sahara, Argentina, and Romania. Her notable solo exhibitions include “Transfăgărășan” (Bucharest), “Das Paradies” (Bilbao), and “Future Fossils” (Buenos Aires). Her work has been featured in institutions like Artium Museum, Sala Rekalde, and San Telmo Museoa, establishing her as a key figure in contemporary art exploring photography and territory.
