Khalil Nemmaoui

Khalil Nemmaoui (1967, Morocco) is a pioneering artist in art and author photography. His work, including the series La Maison de l'Arbre, explores territory, introspection, and self-discovery, and has been showcased at the Photo-Quai Biennale and Headland Center for the Arts in San Francisco. His series was nominated for the Pictet Prize and won the Francophonie Prize at the Rencontres de Bamako in 2011. Nemmaoui’s work is in prominent collections like the Arab World Institute and the Cobra Museum in Amsterdam. In 2020, his project on Paris’ "Chibanis" was selected by Ateliers Médicis. He is also the co-founder of Le No Border, a multi-channel platform for artistic projects and knowledge exchange.
