Soledad Dahbar

Soledad Dahbar, born in 1976 in Salta, Argentina, is an artist currently pursuing a Master’s in Contemporary Latin American Aesthetics at the Universidad Nacional de Avellaneda. Her work is part of prestigious collections such as the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Salta, and the Castagnino-MACRO Collection. Notable solo exhibitions include Problemas Irresueltos at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Salta (2018) and Soy anillo ahora at Miranda Bosch Gallery (2022). Dahbar has received several awards throughout her career, including the Special Prize in the Visual Arts Competition FNA (2022) and 1st Acquisition Prize at the Regional Visual Arts Salon NOA (2022). She has been awarded numerous fellowships, including the FNA Creation Fellowship (2019) and the FNA Formation Fellowship (2016). She has also coordinated collaborative projects such as Tierra Suelta (2017) and Puente Campamento Vespucio Residency (2016). Since 2015, Dahbar has been leading the visual arts project La Arte.
