Daniel Santoro

Daniel Santoro is an Argentine visual artist and writer born in 1954 in Buenos Aires. His work focuses on Argentina's cultural and political identity, particularly Peronism. He studied at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón School of Fine Arts and worked as a set designer at Teatro Colón. He has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires (MAMBA), Centro Cultural Recoleta, and Museo Caraffa, as well as in Italy and Singapore. He is the author and illustrator of books such as El Manual del Niño Peronista and Evita para Principiantes. Among his awards are the AICA Award for Best Art Book (2003) and the First Prize at the Manuel Belgrano Salon. His work has made a significant impact on contemporary Argentine art.
