Ellie Ga (New York, 1976) is an artist and writer blending video, performance, and research. She exhibited at the 2019 Whitney Biennial, and her work is in collections such as the Guggenheim, Whitney Museum, and Moderna Museet. She explores themes like the submerged ruins of Alexandria and messages in bottles as a metaphor for exile. In 2022, she received a Guggenheim Fellowship in Film-Video.
