Ricardo Castes

Ricardo Castes studied Fine Arts at the School of Fine Arts in Paris and at the Ateliers des Beaux Arts in the same city, where he explored various disciplines. He studied plastic photography with Regina Virserius, engraving with Anne-Catherine Nesa, experimental engraving with Vicky Fisher, and experimental video with Yann Guillemain. His notable exhibitions include the Beaux Arts Exhibition at the Montparnasse Gallery in Paris, participation in the Saint Sulpice Print Art Fair, and the Colective Exhibition at Ateliers des Beaux Arts in Paris. He also participated in the International Book Fair in La Paz, Bolivia in 2021, and presented the Materia Gris Exhibition in La Paz, Bolivia. In 2022, he took part in the Colective Exhibition in Paris and held a solo show at the Antonio Paredes Candia Museum. Regarding biennials, Castes was part of the Santa Cruz de la Sierra Biennale in Bolivia in 2023. He has been selected for several art residencies, including the Atelier Residency at the Ateliers des Beaux Arts in Paris in 2020 and the Materia Gris Residency in La Paz, Bolivia in 2021.
