Javier Canales

Javier Canales (Punta Arenas, Chile, 1968) is a visual artist and professor. His work bridges nature, culture, and the heritage of southern Chile's Indigenous communities through ceramics, performance, and landscape art. With international exhibitions in France, Belgium, Italy, and Argentina, and 20 years of teaching experience, his art integrates contemporary practice with environmental and cultural awareness.
