Colectivo de artistas wichí y poetas del Centro Cultural Tewok
The Tewok Cultural Center, in collaboration with Fundación Cebil and its Wichí Art Fund, presents OTHEIWHE’NEY, The Vision, an exhibition showcasing over 200 contemporary Wichí art pieces, including IÑAT (ceramics) and OPATNEY (textiles), representing 11 Indigenous cosmogonies.
The exhibition was held at the Museum of Fine Arts of Salta as part of BIENALSUR, featuring critics Ticio Escobar and Adolfo Colombres. It later traveled to MUSEF in Bolivia, supported by FILAC and IIALI of the United Nations.
The collective received the National Arts Fund Grant (2019) and the Salta Citizen Cultural Development Fund (2022). It has also promoted fair trade for Indigenous Wichí art, forming alliances with UNCU (Tilcara) and BAC (Salta) galleries.
