Elsa Salfity (Salta, 1931-2004) was an Argentine sculptor and a pioneer of the Americanist movement. She created the ceramic relief of Fray Mamerto Esquiú at the Basílica de San Francisco and the Emblem of the Seventh National Eucharistic Congress. She worked in sculpture, ceramics, and engraving, directed the Tomás Cabrera School of Fine Arts, and received the Artistic Merit Award of Salta.
