Ivana Salfity

Ivana Salfity is a visual artist born in Salta, Argentina, in 1976, with a solid background in photography and contemporary visual arts. She studied at the University of Buenos Aires and the Argentine School of Photography. In 2003, she received a grant from Fundación Antorchas and participated in key workshops and clinics with renowned artists such as Tulio de Sagastizábal, Adriana Lestido, and Gabriel Valansi. In 2009, she was awarded the Entrecampos Regional Grant, further establishing her career in contemporary Argentine art. Her work has been featured in major art venues, including Museo de Bellas Artes de Salta, MAC Salta, FotoGalería TGSM, and Galería Céntrica in Buenos Aires, as well as internationally at Niterói Encontro com América do Sul in Brazil. Her artistic practice is rooted in contemporary visual research and experimentation.
