Lucila Penedo y Novoa

Lucila Penedo y Novoa (1978, Madrid) is a visual artist and photographer specializing in photographic conservation. In 2022, she presented her exhibition Los órdenes del amor at the Parque de la Memoria and published her first book of the same title. She won First Prize at the VII AAMEC Contemporary Photography Prize Argentina 2022 and the Best Photobook Award at the Zum Festival - Instituto Moreira Salles 2022. Her conservation work focuses on recent memory and the relationship between photography, art, and memory.
