Antonio Martorell

Antonio Martorell, renowned Puerto Rican artist, has excelled in fields such as painting, printmaking, set and costume design, and illustration. Founder of Taller Alacrán and resident artist at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey, his work has been featured in important international collections. He is also a creator of public art in Puerto Rico and other countries and has received numerous accolades, including honorary doctorates and the Haydée Santamaría Medal.
