Juan Ignacio Cabruja

Juan Ignacio Cabruja is a visual artist based in Argentina with a BA in Fine Arts (UNR) and a Postgraduate Degree in Contemporary Art Technologies (UBA). He is currently pursuing a Master's in Theory and Aesthetics of Electronic Arts at UNTREF. His artistic work blends contemporary art, technology, and critical theory, and has been featured in national and international residencies such as Casa de Piedra (Argentina), La Térmica (Spain), and Azul Montaña (Argentina). He was part of the 2021/22 Artists Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. His exhibitions include the National Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb, MACRO Rosario, Museo La Manzana de las Luces, Crudo Galería, and Satélite Córdoba, as well as awards like Fundación Andreani, OSDE Visual Arts Prize, and Salón Nacional Rosa Galisteo. He also teaches color theory at university level and explores the relationship between technology, public space, and visual perception.
