Verónica Meloni

Verónica Meloni, born in Córdoba, Argentina, in 1974, is an artist and educator whose practice spans performance, public art, drawing, writing, and sculptural happenings. Currently, she participates in Cien caminos en un solo día, an exhibition curated by Jimena Ferreiro at the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires. In 2023, she presented her solo show El Museo de la Nada at Rolf Art Gallery, with a curatorial text by Cuauhtémoc Medina, and took part in the 8th edition of the Andreani Prize at Fundación Andreani, Buenos Aires. That same year, she was selected to participate in ABC Art Baja California, with curators such as Direlia Lazo and José Roca. Meloni has been awarded several times, receiving the Production Prize from Palm Foundation NY. In 2022, she presented Choiols, la huella del ñandú en el cielo at the Instituto Cultural de León, curated by Cuauhtémoc Medina, with a planned itinerancy at Fundación Marso in CDMX. Additionally, she was awarded at the National Salon of Rosario (2022) and presented a solo show at Salón ACME in Mexico. Her work has been recognized by Fundación Klemm and featured in numerous international exhibitions and fairs in places such as Arteba, the Museum of Modern Art Buenos Aires, and Fundación PROA. As an educator, Meloni has worked in various institutions and coordinated workshops and educational programs in Argentina and Mexico. Her multidisciplinary approach and research into performance art have made her an influential figure in contemporary art in the region.
