Bianca Turner

Bianca Turner (Brazil, 1984) is an artist specializing in Design and Performance Practice (Central Saint Martins, 2011) and Scenography (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, 2013). She has showcased her work at prestigious events such as the Verbo Performance Art Festival (2022, 2018), the 34th São Paulo Biennial (2020), the 40th Arte Pará, and the 1st Salão de Arte de Goiás (2022), among others. Her awarded works were featured in the 18th Salão Ubatuba de Artes (2022) and the 36th Salão de Jacarezinho (2021). Bianca’s research examines archives as imperialist constructs, expanding time-space dynamics through audiovisual technologies and video projections intertwined with the body. She actively collaborates with theater groups and performance artists and creates videomapping installations for commissioned festivals.
