Beth Moyses (São Paulo, 1960) is a Brazilian visual artist whose work powerfully denounces violence against women. With a Fine Arts degree from FAAP and a PhD from UNICAMP, Moyses has developed a unique artistic voice since the 1990s, using childhood memories to explore relationships and gender-based violence.
Her impactful performances with women and exhibitions in venues like the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum (Sembrar en el Cuerpo, 2023), MASP (Histórias Brasileiras, 2022), and Reina Sofia Museum (Cárcel de Amor, 2001) have solidified her reputation as a committed advocate for gender equity through art.
