Xoán Anleo
Xoán Anleo (Marín, 1960) is a prominent multidisciplinary artist whose work spans ceramics, installation, and audiovisual art. His practice explores themes of representation and identity, with a strong connection to queer, LGTBI+, and feminist movements. He has exhibited in museums and galleries across Spain, with notable shows like Fricción at CGAC (2002) and Desorde at Fundación Eugenio Granell (2013). Anleo has also made his mark in the music world under the names Xoán Anleo and Lady DJ, with works like Bailar en una línea sin dejar huella (2017), linking music with exhibition art. His work Sin título (2008) is part of the Afundación Art Collection.
