Pauline Fondevila

Pauline Fondevila is a French artist based in Argentina since 2007. Her work spans multiple territories and languages, blending drawing, writing, and installation. She was an artist-in-residence at Hangar (Barcelona) and Casa Vecina (Mexico City). She published two short novels (Una casa y un tambor, 2015; Cinco días en Colón, 2018) with Iván Rosado, and is part of the music group Perro Fantasma, where she sings, draws, and writes lyrics. Her works are in collections in France, Spain, and Argentina, and have been shown at Palais de Tokyo, MUSAC, Fundación Proa, Museo Moderno, BIENALSUR, Momentum X (Norway), and CCK. She recently participated in the 8M Award at CCK with Porque volvías cada verano, and in the Biennal del Pensament (Palma) with La promesa del mar. Fondevila also curates independent projects like Explorar el azar and regularly leads talks and workshops, including La escuela de la noche at Einaidea (Barcelona).
