Laurent Mulot

Laurent Mulot (Lyon, France) is a visual artist known for his ongoing work Middle of Nowhere, which has been exhibited in contemporary art centers around the world. His practice includes performance, photography, sculpture, sound, video, and multimedia. Described by Christian Ruby as an "expeditionary artist," Mulot explores the network between the real and the virtual, questioning our origins and rethinking the notion of nature. He has collaborated with scientists specializing in high-energy particles and has participated in major biennials such as the Lyon Biennial in 2007.
